Managing multiple Instagram accounts
Choose active and default accounts and prevent content or flows from running on the wrong page.
When managing several pages, always know which account is active. Publishing, conversations and some data are displayed or processed according to this selection.
What you will learn
Manage multiple accounts without mixing their content and automation.
Before you start
- Connect every account separately through the official flow.
- Know the exact username of each page.
- Check the active account in the header before sensitive actions.
Steps
1 — Open the account list
View all connected pages and their status in Instagram Accounts.
2 — Choose a default account
Set your most frequently used page as default to make initial selection easier.
3 — Check the publishing destination
Confirm the destination in New Content and Content Planner before saving.
4 — Check the account before building flows
Ensure the flow is created or edited for the intended account in Smart Direct.
5 — Review Communication Center for the same account
View conversations under the correct active account so replies go from the intended page.
Useful tips
- Begin flow names with the page name.
- A default account makes initial selection easier; still verify the destination.
- Read the destination username again before an important publication.
Troubleshooting
- If you cannot find content, the wrong account may be active.
- If a conversation is missing, change the account in the header and check again.
